What if every neglected rooftop, balcony, or corner of a home could fight climate change, reduce urban heat, and grow fresh food?🌿🥦🍅
That’s the question we asked.
And then — we acted.💪💪
To build sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), we started small- one home at a time. That’s how Make Every House Sustainable was born.
In the beginning, we visited every household in our pilot zone. Only 17% were using their rooftops or balconies sustainably.
The rest had space, but no tools, training, or guidance. So we created a community-powered model focused on:
1. Composting & eco waste practices
2. Rainwater harvesting
3. Vertical and companion gardening
4. Local training & support
The impact?
✅ Sustainable practices increased from 17% to 65%💥💥
✅ Rooftops began cooling urban heat
✅ Organic food hubs replaced empty corners
✅ Waste was turned into rich compost
✅ And most importantly, families became climate heroes in their own homes
Because when one house becomes sustainable, a whole city starts to change.✨✨
